Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on pulset.co (the "site"), what each one does, how long it lasts and how you control it. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. It is provided by Pulset ("we", "us", "our").
Nothing non-essential loads until you say yes. When you first visit, we show a banner. The Meta pixel and the Calendly booking widget are not loaded, and set no cookies, unless you choose "Accept all". If you choose "Reject non-essential", no analytics, advertising or third-party scripts are loaded, and only the strictly necessary storage below is used.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. "Similar technologies" include browser local storage (used the same way as a cookie but not sent to a server) and pixels or tags (small pieces of code that can load resources and set cookies). We group them below by what they do.
2. Strictly necessary: always on
These are essential to make the site work and to respect your choices. Under the UK's cookie rules (PECR) they do not require consent.

This stores only your answer ("accepted" or "rejected") and a timestamp. It does not identify you and is not used for tracking. We also keep a record of consent choices in our database (see the Privacy Policy) as proof that consent was freely given.
3. Analytics and advertising: only if you accept
These are set by the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd), and are loaded only after you click "Accept all". Until then, the pixel script is never added to the page and no request is made to Meta.

If you accept, the pixel records limited interaction data (for example that a page or the sign-up step was viewed) and shares it with Meta. This may involve a transfer of data to Meta outside the UK; see our Privacy Policy for the safeguards. You can also control Meta advertising in your Meta ad preferences.
4. Functional: only if you accept, and only when you use it
If you open the "Book a call" scheduler, it is provided by Calendly (Calendly LLC). To protect your privacy the widget is click-to-load: it is not embedded until you open it, and it only loads if you have accepted cookies. When it loads, Calendly may set cookies to run the scheduler and remember your booking session.

For the full list, see Calendly's own cookie notice. If you do not open the scheduler, no Calendly cookies are set.
5. Counting visits without cookies
We count how many times each page is opened so we can measure interest. We record only which page, and when. There is no cookie, no IP address, no device fingerprint and nothing that identifies you or lets us recognise a returning visitor. Because it is anonymous and stores nothing on your device, it runs without consent.
6. Managing or changing your choice
- Use the cookie button in the bottom-left corner of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice at any time.
- You can also clear this site's data in your browser (site settings → "delete data"); the banner will then appear again on your next visit.
- Withdrawing consent stops any further non-essential cookies from being set. Identifiers already stored can be removed by clearing your browser data, and via the Meta and Calendly controls linked above.
- Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies generally, though some sites may not work correctly if you do.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site and the tools we use change. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
